About
I am an aspiring information architect and recovering library worker. First hired as a student assistant at my undergraduate library, I have since worked my way up to the Reference department at UC Irvine Libraries. Along the way, I have connected people to the information they need in a variety of modalities and settings.
Although my experience working in libraries is what inspired me to pursue graduate education, the MLIS program at the University of Washington introduced me to the concept of information architecture. It was here that I first began to see myself as a researcher, designer, and strategist, although my work experience had already lead me down these paths. I am excited to offer to my next workplace the skills in inclusive design, UX research, and metadata strategy I have developed throughout nearly a decade as an information worker.
I earned my Master of Library & Information Science from the University of Washington, and my B.A. in American Studies from Reed College. In my spare time, I'm usually reading, spending time with my friends, or hanging upside down in a trapeze sling.
